Bathroom tile trends for 2025

From earthy terracotta tones to bold geometric patterns — discover the bathroom tile trends making waves this year and how to use them in your space.

Bathroom design moves with the times, and 2025 is bringing some exciting tile trends to the fore. Here are the looks our customers are asking for most this year.

Warm earthy tones are having a moment. Terracotta, clay, ochre, and warm sand shades create a grounded, spa-like feel that works beautifully in bathrooms of all sizes. Pair with natural wood accessories and brass fittings for the full effect.

Textured tiles add depth and interest to walls without relying on bold colour. Three-dimensional wave patterns, ribbed surfaces, and handmade-look finishes with slight irregularities are all proving popular. These tiles catch the light and create subtle shadows that change throughout the day.

Large-format tiles continue to dominate, particularly in shower areas. Fewer grout lines create a cleaner, more contemporary look and make the room feel more spacious. We are seeing a lot of 1200x600mm and even 1200x1200mm formats in bathroom renovations.

Geometric patterns are back — but more refined than before. Hexagons, chevrons, and zellige-inspired shapes in muted tones bring personality without overwhelming the space. They work particularly well as a feature wall behind the basin or in a shower niche.

Finally, stone-effect porcelain continues to be a top seller. The latest digital printing technology means porcelain tiles can replicate the look of marble, travertine, and limestone with remarkable accuracy — but with none of the maintenance requirements of real stone.
